NEW YORK…Libertine design duo Johnson Hartig and Cindy Greene “wanted to turn the fussy, Waspy would upside down,” they stated as their mission for their new collection. The look was proper girl meets punk, Vivienne Westwood with an art school, customized twist. A key piece of the show was a fitted, three quarter sleeved blazer with colorful stripes and patches. They paired it with Queen Elizabeth II screen printed skirts and sweaters. Other looks had a more arts and crafts feel with knitted flowers stitched over coats, capes and tops. Their eclectic collection contained a quirky mix that will appeal to juniors this season.
