Throughout LFW our beauty team will be on the ground covering the latest hair, make-up and nail trends as they happen.

Here Senior Beauty Editor Theresa Yee and Beauty Assistant Emma Grace Bailey reveal their top beauty looks from Day 3:

Mary Katrantzou:

Mary Katrantzou

The Inspiration: A bourgeois beauty- with inspiration taken from the stars and hearts within the collection.

The Look: A beautiful heart shaped lip in a matte rose bud hue is paired with a glossy eye for a surreal take on the 40’s classic red lip. Skin is flushed from the cold and brows and lashes are left free of product. Hair takes inspiration from the stars throughout the collection, with a graphic, heavily gelled fringe which parts in the centre of the forehead and travels at harsh right angles to the ears, creating three points of a star when viewed from above. The length is left natural and pretty for contrast.

Lead Stylists: Duffy for L’Oreal Professionnel / Lynsey Alexander for MAC Cosmetics

Key Products: L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.ART Glue, TecniART Pli, TecniART Air Fix and MAC Cosmetics Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour in Dance With Me.

Topshop Unique:

The Inspiration: Club kids

The Look: Designed to bring out each model’s individual style, hair saw 40 different looks created, all with an extreme club night vibe. Exaggerating the various hair textures, curls are made bigger and fluffier, while straight locks are backcombed and matted, soaked in hairspray for a sweaty outcome.

For make-up, a tough take on the 60’s cat flick sees graphic liquid liner on the top pared with kohl pencil underneath, while the lip is either a bold matte magenta or a pearly pink gloss.

Lead Stylists: Hannah Murray for Topshop Beauty / Anthony Turner for L’Oreal Professionnel

Key Products: L’Oreal Professionnel TecniART Full Volume Extra, Infinium, Pli, Topshop Beauty Kohl Pencil, Lips in Straight Ace and Everything Stick in Defiant

Teatum Jones:

The Inspiration: A Medieval peasant

The Look: A multi-textural ponytail looks rough and worn in from the front, whilst the crown of the head features a surprise basket weave in a super shiny finish. Hair is tightly plaited in a circular shape and elastic is stitched in a crisscross manner between. Wispy flyaways help enforce this girl’s hard-working background. For the make-up it’s all about a weathered cheek as though she’s just come in from the cold.

Lead Stylists: Bianca Tuovi for Bumble and bumble / Andrew Gallimore for MAC Cosmetics.

Key Products: MAC Cosmetics Studio Sculpt Foundation, Concealer Palette, Next to Nothing Pressed Powder, Fall 16 Lip Palette in Sultry Move, Brow Set in Clear, Bumble and bumble Does It All Styling Spray, Thickening Dryspun Finish, Prep Primer and Gel.

House of Holland:

The Inspiration: 20s Flapper Girl meets Glam Rock

The Look: Each model is different; with both hair and make-up looks determined by their personality and standout features. Twists on classic beauty looks are key, with a bold red lip paired with red eyeliner, an elongated cat’s eye and hair textures amplified. Nails are equally as diverse with a 70’s glam rock vibe. Short nails are painted with irregular stripes in metallic blue, silver, dark red and blue tones.

Lead Stylists: Isamaya Ffrench for MAC Cosmetics / Sophy Robson for MAC Cosmetics / Cos Sakkas for Toni & Guy

Key Products: Label.m Texturising Volume Spray, Sea Salt Spray, MAC Cosmetics Retro Matte Lipstick

The Inspiration: 80s Club Kid Girl Gang – with the inspiration taken from Club Paradiso in Amsterdam

The Look: Hair takes on two textures with wet, comb-back roots and dry, gently tonged lengths for a pretty yet tough look. Pieces of hair was taken from around the sides and tied together to form a double knot at the back. The make-up look combined Club Paradiso references with sporty elements resulting in graphic lines on the eyes, fresh matte skin and balmy lips.

Lead Stylists: Mari Ohashi for Bumble and bumble / Niamh Quinn for MAC Cosmetics

Key Products: Bumble and bumble Thickening Mousse, Full Potential Booster Spray, Sumo Wax, Cityswept Finish, MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation, Cream Colour Base in Luna, Clear Lipglass, Lip Conditioner, Next to Nothing Pressed Powder and Extended Play Lash Mascara

The Inspiration: The sci-fi eye-li and soft natural hair

The Look: Make-up is pure and clean with a subtle twist on the eyeliner. A graphic black line is drawn onto the inner corners of the eye to form a “sci-fi eye liner”. This was paired with balmy lips, brushed brows and bare eyes. The nails matched the eyes with a creamy caramel tone toughed up with a black tip on the cuticles and finished with top coat. There was an element of softness to the hair with natural beachy waves for a effortless and youthful look.

Lead Stylists: Andrew Gallimore, Nars UK Makeup Ambassador / Stephen Low for Neville Salon / Imarninails for Jessica Nails

Key Products: NARSskin Optimal Brightening Concentrate, Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, Stick Concealer, Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder, Black Moon Velvet Eyeliner (new for Fall 2016), Oural Brow Gel, Bianca Pure Sheer SPF Lip Treatment and L’Oreal Professionnel Beach Waves
