Copenhagen menswear label Soulland collaborates with original jeans label Lee on a collection of abstract patchwork denim pieces.

While Lee Jeans is best known for its classic styles, the 125 year-old heritage label keeps itself relevant for today through its designer collaborations that it completes each season. Recent alignments include London’s Other Store, Donwan Harrell as well as its seasonal partnership with Vivienne Westwood as part of the Anglomania capsule line.

For S/S 15, Lee team up with Copenhagen’s Soulland for a small collection of patchwork denim jackets and pants. Taking a similar direction to Junya Watanabe’s handcrafted patchworks, the new line of black denims features a range circular panels  in contrasting tones and textures. From polka dots to plaid and hairy wollens, the pieces bring statement in a subtle and sophisticated way.

The Lee for Soulland collaboration are available at Goodhood, Shoreditch and Colette, Paris with a special window that mimic’s greenscreen concept that it presented at its fashion show.
