Paris…Kris Van Assche
For this, his third collection to date, Kris Van Assche drew inspiration from the plazas of the Mediterranean where old men sit in shirtsleeves while the younger generation wears high-tops and baggy shorts. In sum, it meant an interesting marriage of the two styles, slender lines for some shirts, pants and tuxedos; more volume for others. As with many of the season’s collections there were sweat-pants, this time in an intense shade of blue that added a welcome pop to a mostly monotoned palette.
