The Project-Magic trade show successfully wrapped up last Wednesday in Las Vegas, boasting a fully booked roster of vendors and hundreds of satisfied buyers and fashion media outlets. The Project-Magic trade show umbrella houses nine separate niche shows, including Pool, S.L.A.T.E., Street, Premium, FN Platform, Sourcing at Magic, and Workroom.
This year Project featured a number of innovative initiatives, including the Blogger Project, where a number of top fashion bloggers – including the Denim Guy, Marcus Troy, and Selectism – set up shop on the show floor to provide minute-by-minute coverage of the trade shows. Project also collaborated with street fashion style icon and Gilt Manual advisor Nick Wooster, whose Project Wooster sub-show featured items from brands like Arc’teryx Veilance and DRx Romanelli, handpicked by the man himself.
