The Project-Magic trade show successfully wrapped up last Wednesday in Las Vegas, boasting a fully booked roster of vendors and hundreds of satisfied buyers and fashion media outlets. The Project-Magic trade show umbrella houses nine separate niche shows, including Pool, S.L.A.T.E., Street, Premium, FN Platform, Sourcing at Magic, and Workroom.
This year Project featured a number of innovative initiatives, including the Blogger Project, where a number of top fashion bloggers – including the Denim Guy, Marcus Troy, and Selectism – set up shop on the show floor to provide minute-by-minute coverage of the trade shows. Project also collaborated with street fashion style icon and Gilt Manual advisor Nick Wooster, whose Project Wooster sub-show featured items from brands like Arc’teryx Veilance and DRx Romanelli, handpicked by the man himself.
Other show highlights included emerging streetwear brands like Fli Pelican at S.L.A.T.E. and top trendies like Surface to Air at Workroom. Stay tuned as Stylesight brings you comprehensive Las Vegas trade show coverage in the coming weeks.
