With its Autumn/Winter 15/16 campaign, Lanvin has fallen in line with the industry’s ongoing infatuation with 1970s glamour. Need more evidence it’s going nowhere? Check out Gucci, Mulberry and Miu Miu.
But back to Lanvin. Shot by Tim Walker, the campaign is set in a decadent hotel, which complements the luxurious metallic, shearling and gilded accessories-heavy collection being showcased.
And the faces? Casting director Rosie Vogel chose a somewhat motley crew to star including Hollie-May Saker, Justin Gossman, Zoe Bedeaux, Baylee and Kelsey Soles, Reba and Jess Maybury and Erik and Niek Put.
While the guys appear in the brand’s slim suits paired with running sneakers, the girls are styled in a mix of sheer metallic and fringed shift dresses with boxy cross body bags and asymmetric wide brim hats…
