Danish textile company Kvadrat has opened its first showroom in Japan, in the country’s capital Tokyo earlier this month.

The 80 sq.m. space is located in the city’s Minami-Aoyama district and and features Kvadrat’s entire collection as well as products from the company’s other brands: Kvadrat/Raf Simons, Kinnasand and Kvadrat Soft Cells.

“We have been working closely with renowned Japanese architects including Toyo Ito and Kengo Kuma for projects around the world,” Kvadrat CEO Anders Byriel explains. “Our showroom in Tokyo will give us the chance to deepen the relationship and engage in a more direct dialogue with the Japanese A&D community.”
