The London-based retailer presents their selection for the upcoming season. S/S 12 brings pastel patents, snake-printed brights, neon hues and basic black and whites. The collection puts in evidence a beautiful balance of materials and silhouettes, highlighting texture and color on simple uppers. Well, simple the “Kurt Geiger” way. Wooden units and thick heels remain strong with perforated uppers and mixed materials. Single sole silhouettes are exaggerated with extremely thin stilettos as a reminder of the flirtatious styles Kurt Geiger is known for. On another spectrum we see a strappy Mary Jane ballerina in a Neopolitan ice cream color combo, as well as a nude patent loafer on a fuschia outsole, which are cheerful and modern in their own right. Signature extreme platforms and single sole pointed pumps are revamped in the season’s new colors and materials. Overall, the collection is lighthearted and fun, a formula that has proven success season after season for the retailer. – Jenn Tello
