Kris Van Assche

Paris: Kris Van Assche’s slick, modern aesthetic resulted in a number of interesting new hybrids for S/S 14, re-imagining the trench coat as a pop-over anorak or fitting a slim blazer with a kangaroo pocket. These sporty details, including contrast zippers and clipped self-belts, gave life to slim suiting in emerald green, black and white, as did carefully placed crocodile embossing and big graphic polka dots, while polo shirts and bright sweatshirts were easy summer must-haves.— Nina Stotler
