This year’s edition of Cersaie is promising some exciting trends. Here is a preview before the full trend analysis goes live on Homebuildlife next week.

Free Form

Tiles are freed from their traditional frame. After all the geometric options seen in recent years, a new direction is emerging, with tiles of all shapes and sizes now available to be mixed and matched together. This enables the creation of highly personal compositions, as seen at Mirage.

3D

3D tiles continue to gain traction, embracing an increasingly geometric style. Homebuildlife subscribers can read our Theatrical Walls trend analysis for more on this ongoing trend.

Licensing

Several tile manufacturers are launching collections in partnership with renowned brands or artists. The Keith Haring Foundation has licensed a series of drawings to Ascot. Transferred onto white ceramic, they create a range of graphic black and white wall coverings.
