3 must-try trends and why basket bags are here to stay
London is known as THE creative hub of the Fashion Week season – think young designers, big parties, and some eclectic street style. WGSN’s Anna Ross brings you the three key trends spotted on the streets of London this season.

The Blues
Head-to-toe blues were the colour du jour on the streets of London, with street-stylers moving on from head to toe denim looks and taking the look into a more formal mood. We love Caroline Issa’s all-blue look in a combination of tones and textures and Veronika Heilbrunner’s all blue lenses.

Sartorial Checks
Checks stormed the streets of London Fashion Week, seen on everything from outerwear to socks. With Burberry re-launching it’s iconic heritage check this season, there’s no time like the present to buy into this timeless print. For a modern direction look no further than Calvin Klein’s laminated overcoat – just wow.

The New Basket
Basket bags are a perennial piece for the summer months; London saw a multitude of updates, from encased to embellished – so dust off that French shopper for an instant wardrobe update.
