A BIBA waffle-knit chevron-patterned jacket, 19th century fashion plates, ’20s-era footwear and a dash of Courrèges . All this and a whole lot more will be up for auction this coming Monday, October 14th via the expert Kerry Taylor Auctions in London’s Bermondsey neighbourhood, from 10am onwards, divided into two parts. Everything from antique textiles to showstopping pieces and accessories by designer and couture labels from nearly every decade of the 20th century are up for grabs, ensuring something to pull at every vintage-lover’s heartstrings.
For those looking to inspect before purchase, there is a viewing on Sunday from 12-4pm at the auction site 249-253 Long Lane, Bermondsey, SE 4PR.
