Paris: Kenzo designer Antonio Marras was inspired by the traditions of an English detective novel for F/W 11. Elegant classics were deconstructed and re-thought for a cast of characters that included the highbrow sleuth, gentleman farmer, the London bad boy and even butlers. Fusing both formal elements and casual sportswear, Marras’ designs had as many unexpected turns as an Agatha Christie story — from pieced cardigans and allover pattern suits to cropped trousers and tartan twinsets.
