Kendall Jenner takes on Fendi starring as one of its new faces for A/W 15

Former reality television star and now full-fledged model Kendall Jenner stars in the Autumn/Winter 15 Fendi campaign.

Creative director Karl Lagerfeld is known for working consistently with a slowly revolving batch of his favourite models and actresses. The designer prior to this campaign has also cast Jenner as the face of his namesake brand as well as casting her in each Chanel runway show over the last year.

Tackling industry skepticism over her legitimacy as a model, Kendall Jenner’s role at Fendi this season follows stints in campaigns for Givenchy, Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein.

The two images released from the campaign so far show Jenner standing in front of larger-than-life string-puppet dolls, iterations of which have been seen in previous campaigns.

The news that Jenner was to model for the brand comes as no surprise as the luxury house teased a couple of images in April from behind-the-scenes on the campaign shoot. However in those images Jenner is also joined by model Lily Donaldson, yet none of Donaldson’s images have aired so far meaning we can expect to see more to come in this space.
