Mango, the Spanish retail giant recently revealed its new strategy, focused on fast fashion and linked to a different advertising campaign – and star – every month to promote new stock.

Now, it’s announced that Kendall Jenner is to be the first celebrity to front its new fast fashion strategy.

The ‘Tribal Spirit’ campaign kicks off spring/summer on February 1, the first of four trends to be celebrated by the brand this season.

The focus of Mango’s new brand and campaign strategy is to feature: “the trend of the moment together with the face that best defines it.”

Mango said Jenner “will model a collection of uncontained beauty and cultural fusion, typical of the wildest savannah”.

It features a combination of printed fabrics and suede that “enlivens the natural character of a regular trend during the summer season,” said Mango

“An explosion of earth tones” – mustard, browns, camel and sand – are combined with an abundance of accessories “to produce outfits of a tribal and free-spirited influence.”
