An amazing, collectible find and a big favorite of the Denim team, the Karlheinz Weinberger book is an amazing inspiration for denim designers, depicting iconic 1960s images of Switzerland’s young rebels with their punky, biker styling and obsession with American culture. In fact, designer of the moment, JW Anderson admitted the photographer inspired his latest S/S 11 collection. The original copy is highly collectible, very expensive and hard to find but the good news is a new edition of Weinberger’s work is due out in February. Named Rebel Youth, and published by Rizzoli, the book is a more reasonable alternative and is sure to inspire. Thanks to Disneyrollergirl for the pics and info.
