Cartier opens the doors to the new Cartier & Aldo Cipullo, New York City in the ’70s exhibition tomorrow at the Cartier Mansion, 5th Ave, New York to celebrate the work of the iconic jeweler Aldo Cipullo and the release of the new Juste Un Clou collection, based on Cipullo’s original 1971 design.
Also credited with the creation of the significant Love bracelet, the theme of hardware as fine jewelry was a concurrent theme throughout his career at Cartier, and has gone on to inspire a number of humble-luxe jewelry designs since.
The exhibition highlights this innovative period at the French jewelry house, and presents a number of iconic pieces and provides an insight into the influential work of Cipullo.
