Milan’s Corso Vittorio Emanuele has become home to Gap’s first Italian flagship store. The new addition is part of Gap Inc.’s plan to fuel revenue growth through international expansion; Italy is the fourth European country that the company has entered. The new 25,500 square-foot space, which opened on November 20th, houses three floors of clothing for Men, Women, and Children.
The current Women’s assortment includes a limited-release capsule collection that was created by Italian designer, Valentino. The collection consists of seven pieces, and aside from the new Milan outpost, it will only be available at Gap’s London Dover Street Market and Oxford Street locations, and at Colette in Paris.
