Josie Natori takes us to an exotic paradise

New York: Spring 2015 offered Josie Natori the opportunity to “escape to paradise”, according to her show notes. The designer captured the nature of an island exquisitely by using beach-inspired textures, accessories made of carved wood and a tropical palm print. The collection was bathed in a soft and sophisticated palette of neutrals, which were complimented by bright bursts of citrus and serene marine blues. New silhouettes were achieved through origami folds, soft layering and asymmetrical constructions. –Deirdre Pérez
