Joseph Abboud

New York: Creative Director Bernardo Rojo looked to the 1960s space age for Joseph Abboud’s F/W 13 collection. Inspired by spacesuits of the Apollo Missions, the futuristic white curves of the TWA Flight Center, and the spirit of the era, Rojo showed a collection that expertly married textiles, technology, and tailoring. The color palette consisted of dark inky hues as well as incandescent accents that matched the luxurious, yet active-inspired pieces. Concentrated around the notion of technology’s ever-changing future, Rojo successfully delivered an innovative collection that retained the sophistication of American menswear.  – Kathleen Tso
