STRANGERS ON A TRAIN
Milan: With a train-track runway set in an old Milanese church, John Varvatos F/W 11 man was on a journey. The signature rocker vibe was still present, but with a much more rumpled, hobo quality this time, expressed in bohemian layers, sturdy tweedy fabrics, misshapen hats and subtle military undertones. The mix of industrial city worker with small town dreamer worked brilliantly — allowing for a gentle poetic spirit to come through the clothes.
