Jimmy Choo mania is finally over! The debut of the collaboration between Jimmy Choo and H&M hit stores this past Saturday. Fashion savvy recessionistas anxiously awaited the release of the line after many advertisements and endless hype. At New York’s 5th Avenue location the first person to stand in line arrived at 5pm the day before the fast-fashion chain opened its doors the next day. Despite the pouring rain, fans waited behind the velvet ropes for a wristband allowing entry and employees sweetly handed out Krispy Kreme doughnuts. When the doors finally opened, women poured into the store to get their hands on shoes, accessories and even apparel. The multifaceted collection -– full of glamorous pieces — included one-shoulder leather and suede dresses, sequined jackets, ballerina flats, and of course, the famous stilettos associated with the brand.
Check out the H&M site for a look at the full collection.
