New York: Citing the architectural look of nature in photographer Heidi Specker’s images of Germany’s Black Forest as her inspiration, Jill Stuart offered up color-blocking, pieced Deco dresses, painted animal and nature graphics and an autumnal desert color palette for F/W 11. The collection crossed earthy motifs with glamourous sparkle and shine, and partnered Stuart’s signature girly details, like cap sleeves and ascot collars, with minimalist silhouettes like sleeveless coats and boxy tunics.
