IN LIVING COLOR
Milan: Raf Simons knows how to present shock and awe in a tasteful, minimalist way. F/W 11 contained many of his signature design traits – boxy knits, tapered pants and juicy pops of color. Fuchsia and orange stood up well against optical white, black and the quintessential Jil Sander navy blue. A strong showing of monochromatic suits and cold weather outerwear trimmed in unexpected hues made for a decidedly futuristic message full of optimism and promise.
