A SCANNER DARKLY
Graph motifs, cold neutrals and geometric appliqués gave Jeremy Laing’s collection a sci-fi undertone, as if he’d spent his nights reading Philip K. Dick. Asymmetric closures and epaulets toughened up would-be lab coats. Perforated skinny pants and roomy trousers were chopped above the knee and reattached using contrasting fabric. For all the sterile references, Laing soften the look with a deft hand at drapery, creating swirls of fabric that swathed the body.
