After ending his successful tenure at Hermes with the S/S 11 collection, it seemed that Jean Paul Gaultier spent his extra time revisiting his punkish roots. With look titles like “London Callin” and “I Am an Anarchist”, Gaultier re-imagined old favorites like sharp-shouldered pantsuits, ripped sweaters, and deconstructed trench coats. More refined pieces like pieced satin dresses were a highlight, and playful pops of color showed the designer was having fun.
