Cleo B’s S/S 12 range was launched during London Fashion Week this past September but we just got our hands on their lookbook featuring the charming collection. Each item is fun, bold and completely wearable. The obvious 80’s Hip Hop inspiration is immediately recognizable in their cassette heel pump (my favorite!) and laser-cut “BOOM” sandal and could’ve been easily sported by the girls from Salt n’ Pepa. A suede bootie features musical notes in metallic leather and espadrille wedges combine poptastic colors in hues of coral, watermelon, turquoise, orange and purple. The launch also marked their expansion into accesssories with the introduction of pouches and wallets. This 80’s tribute influence has been around for some time and is expected to stick around for another season, but we tip our hats to the design team at Cleo B for putting together this modern take on the hard-hitting trend. -Jenn Tello
