It All Comes Back to Aviation

London…Eley Kishimoto

Kishimoto’s F/W 09 collection took off with a playful interpretation of classic airline steward uniforms. Matching skirt suits featured gold ornamental buttons and contrast trims. The same buttons decorated sack shapes and silk chiffon dresses at the neckline, anchoring a wide strip of velvet trim. Colorful “airplane-print” skirts were coordinated with “hand luggage” in matching color ways. Knee-high socks and emblem-embellished felt wool caps were the key accessories to complete the distinct look on this runway painted like a landing strip.
