Paris: Creative Director Dai Fujiwara navigated away from the extreme cuts of the past to a more relaxed vibe in a collection entitled “Pen”. “All of the technology we rely on every day brings us together, into chat groups, onto Facebook, but the pen is all about privacy and liberty,” said the designer. Highlighting the intimate nature of handwriting, the soundtrack included disembodied voices reading from journal entries. The literary Beatnik influence and inclusion of rugged elements were an interesting contrast against the house’s signature use of technologically advanced fabrics.
