New for Fall/Winter 2013, LA-based imprint 1992 launches into the season with a set of long-sleeved logo shirts emblazoned with droll motor sport-inspired graphics.
1992 is a Los Angles-based artist and design collective that provides a modern take on classic American style. The debut collection takes a look at America’s fascination of motorsports with Nascar style sweaters plastered with team logos. Iconic names like Mercedez-Benz, Kawasaki and Ferrari are replaced with ironic reworks that read Merderes Dem, Kawabunga and Rari. Tapping into the trend for printed sleeves, the selection of long-sleeves shirts feature glossy logos printed on front, back along the arms. Sidney and Thurman Sewell, aka The ATL Twins are tapped to face the collection, which has already gathered the brand serious hype across the internet and streetwear scene. US online webstore V Files picked up the full collection, which has already sold out on the key styles. This is definitely one brand to watch.
