In keeping with our fall winter 12/13 Wild Craft trend we love these pieces of furniture so obviously crafted from nature.
The upside down chair by Dutch Designer Floris Wubben is made by binding the branches of a willow tree and forcing them to grow into four legs while the back and seat are carved from the trunk. Taking a more environmental twist is Royal College of Art graduate Fabien Capello who’s recycling of discarded christmas trees brings an urban crafting. Taking a more industrial approach is Slovakian designer Peter Jakubik who has designed an instruction manual of how to create your own iconic Panton chair – all you need is a chainsaw and a tree!
