On Saturday the Stylesight team was in L.A. for the annual ‘Inspiration’ show by Rin Tanaka. For those of you who don’t know him, he’s the avid vintage collector and author of the My Freedamn book series that celebrates rare collectable garments from motorcycle jackets to vintage denim and tees.
The show, now in its second year, is an annual gathering of like-minded vintage purists with many stands selling their collectable wares, such as J’Antiques from Tokyo and Hellers Cafe from Seattle, among many others from all over the world. The show also included brands such as Levi’s Vintage Clothing and Wrangler. The brands were not selling, simply presenting themselves to the audience of avid denim heads and die-hard collectors, where the like-minded attendees chatted and networked.
The show was a great inspiration to all the team, and we’ll be working on a report when we get back from Vegas that includes the key denim, graphics, street style and vendor highlights from the show.
