INSPIRATION | Bill Gekas

We’re always amazed at the creative parents out there, from dads like Jason Lee and moms like Angie Stevens, so it was no surprise that we love the work of Aussie photographer Bill Gekas. Gathering inspiration from the old masters, including Johannes Vermeer (from whom Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli of the House of Valentino recently drew inspiration), Gekas photographs his daughter in front of elaborate classical backdrops and in period costumes.
