As 2013 comes to a close, the Children’s Team is taking a look back at the memorable events that defined the kids’ market. In the realm of celebrity babies, it was the year of Louis with the birth of royal baby George Alexander Louis this summer and Gravity star Sandra Bullock’s son, Louis Bardo Bullock, wowing us all with his pure cuteness.
Going viral in 2013 was the Goldie Blox commercial that challenged gender-based toys for girls; and Instagram’s heart-warming Boy and His Bulldog from Tokyo. In the world of blogs, What my Daughter Wore and Humans of New York, captured kids’ street style in different forms–the former through artistic sketches and the latter in photography.
