Photographer and Kids’ Wear founder Achim Lippoth recently unveiled “Havana Fight Club” in his newsletter a short film that was created while shooting Kid’s Wear Vol.33. The film explores the Rafael Trejo Boxing gym, one of the oldest boxing clubs in Cuba where local kids from ages 8 to 11 get trained from former champions. Lippoth’s flashing imagery underscored by a funky James Brown beat complements the young boxers’ rhythmic sparring and exercise routine. A pictorial of the famous gym is included in the current issue. The gritty, very real imagery is reminiscent of Stylesight’s F/W 12 Megatrends Raw Energy where force, focus and form meet.
