If you’re anything like us, you lust after a sea of indigo and are loving the return to true workwear sulphur blues of late. Recently we discovered Bleu De Paname, a French company that delivers that rich, saturated shade with a modern worker sensibility – enjoy!
Bleu De Paname was founded in 2008 and is developed and manufactored in France It offers a modern interpretation of French workwear classics such as chore jackets, utility-alls and worker pants. The brand already sells in Colette in Paris, Comme Des Garcon in Tokyo, Dover Street Market in London, and Opening Ceremony in both L.A. and N.Y., as well as many other uber-hip outlets. Its S/S 11 collection is titled Apache in reference to the criminal underworld subculture during the Belle Epoque (The Beautiful Era). We love the combination of saturated and varied blues with clean, no nonsense design and simple ecru top stitching. It’s also great to see a brand really channeling workwear clothing for the womenswear market.
And be sure to watch this video about the brand on their website.
