Thoughts and positive energy go out to the family and friends of professional surfer Andy Irons, who sadly passed away. The surfing community as a whole is deeply saddened and shocked by such a sad loss. Andy, 32, was a beloved husband, three-time world champion and living icon.
Born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Kauai, Andy came into the limelight of surfing at a young age – along with his brother Bruce Irons – and eventually worked with longtime surfing sponsor, Billabong.
His wife, Lyndie Dupuis, survives him.
