Denim duo Imogene and Willie bring a taste of the south to Portland with a beautiful sister store to complement their good ole’ Nashville, Tennessee location.
Husband and wife team, Matt and Carrie Eddmenson, expand upon their bricks and mortar location with the opening of their second standalone store in Portland, Oregon. Bringing the same humble southwest flavor as their original Nashville gas station space, the new West Burnside store is beautifully curated with curios and antique ephemera from Tennessee like retro neon signs, Native Americana rugs, horseshoes, and beat up tassel leather jackets. Among the lush wood furnitures you’ll find quality handmade products, all crafted in the USA, that ensures that you will be purchasing truly one-of-a-kind pieces of durable clothing for both men and women. The fitting room walls are another stunning features of the interior, using a Japanese wood curing process called “shou-sugi-ban” – as you can see the results are stunning.
The store is situated among other great stores like Self Edge, Tanner Goods and Poler Stuff on West Burnside in the Pearl District, which is fast becoming the prime boutique destination of Portland. Take a look at the video below to see the pair setting up the store back in November. You can also see a photo stream here too.
