For their spring collection, Ideeën incorporated a little uptown sophistication into their usual mix of downtown-chic streetwear. The duo added more refined dresses and suits to their repertoire, fashioned out of dressier fabrics like chiffon and silk moiré. Head-to-toe monochromatic ensembles presented a striking image through a mixture of texture-rich fabrics, with a sheer body suit providing a fashion-forward alternative to a slip. A swirling African-inspired motif, achieved through print and cutwork embroidery, represented an innovative approach to the trend of asymmetrical sectioning and collaging that has been seen all over the runways this season.
