It’s a rundown of the coolest most viral moments of the year, the most innovative ad campaigns, plus the sites and sounds that should be on your radar now, so that come 2017, you can say, ‘oh I already knew that was going to be HUGE this year’.

If you know me, you’ll know that my nails are my pride and joy. I love nail polish, intricate nail designs and just generally harnessing a year-round strong nail game. Last year I received about 10 professional nail kits for Christmas, the obsession is real. Why nails, you might ask? I think it just finishes off a look, it makes you look well put together (I hate seeing chipped nail polish) and when you spend as much time as I do typing, editing, and checking grammar etc, you want your nails to sparkle.
So this year I loved discovering the Instagram account The Hoodwitch run by Bri Luna, who has the most fabulous nails. The Instagram is connected to her website which is an ode to all things witchy, tarot and loving yourself, but for me it’s all about her nails. Vogue has even dubbed her the nail art guru to watch.
I love that she celebrates femininity with her photos, and her posts about loving yourself, and creating a life that you love. And it doesn’t suffer from being corny, right now it feels like just what 2016 needs, it’s no wonder she has over 116k Instagram followers. And the love of all things Occult right now is a huge trend that we’re seeing across content sites, product launches, and on the catwalk, so this has never felt so timely.
