Wine is having a really great year. 2016 will go down as the year wine glasses became the new ‘it’ accessory. Now I would never advocate stealing, but after seeing Rihanna stride out of so many venues with wine glass in hand, it’s hard to not think about taking that glass of Malbec straight out to the streets!
Rihanna has been photographed leaving so many clubs and restaurants with wine glass in tow that it’s created a bit of an epidemic, where proprietors are clamping down on their cutlery! Consider yourself warned.
And wine itself has been making quite the comeback. Instagram personality & published author Josh “the Fat Jewish” Onassis created his own wine brand (or parody, depending on how refined your pallet is) called “White Girl Rose” which comes complete with straws and a bubble bath.
So next time you think about what to include in your handbag for a night out on the town, consider adding a (preferably shatter proof) wine glass to the mix!
And when you meet your match at the party, do take a second to toast to the original wino who started it all. #winoforever
