This charming Ibiza Town hotel boasts a beautifully decorated, 1940s-style Art Deco exterior and modern interior, with facilities including a pool and spa, as well as a spacious rooftop Prosecco bar boasting panoramic views of the Med. It’s also a recommended spot for lunch or dinner, serving a healthy menu of fresh fish and meat dishes, as well as salads and detox smoothies for the health conscious. Located on the old market square at the foot of Dalt Vila, be sure not to miss this renowned eclectic vintage store, packed full to the rafters with trend-led styles for men and women including graphic tees, vintage sportswear, printed dresses, denim and swimwear. Perhaps one of the more avant-garde clothing stores in the Ibiza Town area, Ruta stocks fashion-forward women’s apparel, footwear and accessories with a rocky twist. Don’t leave without buying a patterned cushion, woven basket bag or a pot of the famous Sal de Ibiza salt.
If in Ibiza on a Wednesday or a Saturday, don’t miss a visit to the renowned Punta Arabi Hippy Market. At this huge outdoor market, find everything from womenswear to jewellery, accessories, swimwear, kidswear, bags, homeware, beauty and food. It’s well worth dedicating at least two to three hours to explore.
Noted for its magnificent modern 1960s architecture, this former private home and studio of architect Erwin Broner is open for public viewing. Housed inside are many of his original sketches, while the view over the ocean is breathtaking.
Located in the brand new swanky Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, Peyotito restaurant overlooks the pool and beach, boasting a relaxed, stylish ambience, delicious mezcal and tequila-infused cocktails, and a menu of modern Mexican flavours. Try the halibut ceviche, or the spicy Tinga de Pollo cups, for a mouthwatering gastronomical experience.
Amante is a luxe restaurant and bar boasting a rural setting overlooking the cove of Sol d’en Serra, just a 10 minute drive from Ibiza Town. Attracting a well-heeled crowd, the restaurant offers a modern Mediterranean menu of healthy, locally sourced ingredients alongside delicious cocktails – perfect for watching the sun go down. Amante won the award for Best Beach Restaurant in island guide White Ibiza three years running, and its outdoor film nights are a local treasure.
