Denim fabric technology has been moving fast at the moment, with a strong emphasis remaining on better stretch denim and recovery. We’ve seen some amazing fabrics emerging at recent fabric shows like Denim by PV and Kingpins and the focus for mills continues to be with stretch product. Leading Turkish mill Isko were one of the first mills to develop super stretch, ‘jegging’ qualities and have remained at the forefront of the movement with their coatings and finishes moving stretch fabrications forward. Hudson Denim have collaborated with the mill to produce their latest denim breakthrough they’ve named ‘F&F’- The Future Face of Indigo.
The fabric combines the lightness and ease of knit with the look and shape of woven denim providing 360 stretch and comfort. “We haven’t seen a fabric this exciting in quite some time,” says Ben Taverniti, Hudson’s creative director.
The brand have also collaborated with with Equinox Fitness to present their range:“Equinox was the obvious choice for us to collaborate with on this special collection. They share our commitment to living a charged and passionate life all the while looking and feeling great” continues Ben Taverniti.
“At Hudson, we believe that when you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good you are empowered to do anything. Style is an evolution and we are not just about denim, we are about furthering our way of life. ” Says Peter Kim, Hudson Founder and CEO.
The collection is available in 5 fits: Edie, the pull on skinny, Mia, the 5 pocket flare, Nico, the mid rise super skinny, Christa, the mid rise flare and Collin, the signature skinny. Prices range from $154 to $191 and all are available at Hudson online.
