This morning, the Children’s Team checked out Alpha Industries‘ F/W 12 collection aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, an impressive landmark along the Hudson River. With a heritage closely aligned with the US military and museums, Alpha Industries’ F/W 12 is filled with military inspired pieces that are both functional and current. Removable fur collars and reversible jackets give kids multiple options while patches and military insignia add a special touch. Olive drab, rusts and navy blues fill the racks. Fun fact: Government-deemed “navy blue” is actually “teal” while “replica blue” is what we civilians call “navy.”
Much to our delight, we had the opportunity to explore the Intrepid and check out (from a distance) the Enterprise Shuttle. Check out our twitter for more pics from our visit.
