Stuart Weitzman has recently opened a stunning new store which is also its second global flagship boutique designed by the iconic architect Zaha Hadid. Located in ifc mall, a hub of luxury retail in Hong Kong, the store’s all-glass façade perfectly showcases the slender and elegant store design. Playing with geometrical lines, the design is fluid featuring folds and recesses, while dipping fiberglass in rose gold has created the curved seating and freestanding items. Using a monochromatic palette, the resulting design is innovative and stylish. Zaha Hadid said of the store opening: “It is very exciting to be opening the Stuart Weitzman store in Hong Kong. The adaptive design of the store expresses the dynamism of the city and reflects the quality and craftsmanship of Stuart Weitzman’s shoes.”  Further flagship stores designed by Zaha Hadid Architects are slated to open worldwide in 2014 in key fashion capitals London and Beijing. –Babette Radclyffe-Thomas
