British fragrance house Penhaligon’s has recently opened its first ever flagship store in Hong Kong. Designed by London-based Fabled Studio, the new, refined store is located in ifc, one of Hong Kong’s leading, luxury shopping malls. Founded over 140 years ago, with several prestigious Royal Warrants to its name, this beautiful new store embodies Penhaligon’s rich British heritage. Timber floors, wooden library walls, antique furniture and rugs and a stunning fireplace all give the boutique a distinctly Victorian Era feel. The store even has an exclusive Scent Profiling Room where guests can delve in-depth into Penhaligon’s range of fragrances. To coincide with the boutique’s opening, Penhaligon’s has launched their newest scent Iris Prima. A collaboration with the English National Ballet, this elegant new scent aims to capture the essence of the secluded and fantastical world of ballet. –Babette Radclyffe-Thomas
