The newly renovated Prada store, located in Alexandra House building in Landmark Central Hong Kong, has recently opened. Architect Roberto Baciocchi designed the two-story store with double-height, glass walls and large window displays that wrap around the exterior storefront. As visitors walk through the black marble store entrance, they are greeted by the classic monotone checkerboard flooring, evocative of the legendary Milanese store. Walls adorned with luscious green fabric create a cozy dressing room feel in womenswear and guests can sit on ‘Clover Leaf’ sofas created exclusively for Prada by Verner Panton while perusing the wide accessories range. A black marble staircase leads guests from womenswear on the ground floor up to menswear on the first floor, where a masculine décor of wood-clad walls, and ostrich leather sofas abounds. –Babette Radclyffe-Thomas
