Its not often that a leading luxury label opens two new stores in one week in Hong Kong but last week HUGO BOSS did just that and bowed two new BOSS stores. One of the stores is located at Central Building in Central and the other is across the harbor on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, two of the city’s key retail and business districts. Spanning over 10,000 sq. ft. of sales space, the Central Building store is BOSS’s largest store in the Asia-Pacific region. Dr. Gerrit Ruetzel, President and CEO Asia Pacific, HUGO BOSS Hong Kong Limited said of the opening: “we are pleased to be opening two new BOSS stores in Hong Kong which demonstrate our faith in the robust future we anticipate for this major Asian commercial hub. These two new statement-making stores impressively demonstrate the core values of HUGO BOSS”. The striking design of both stores is modern and sophisticated, using black steel grids with LED strips and fabric wall panels. In the lead up to the opening, Hong Kong residents were treated to an innovative marketing campaign: to spread the word about the openings HUGO BOSS utilized the Star Ferry in front of Victoria Harbour, one of Hong Kong’s most iconic images. –Babette Radclyffe-Thomas
