Hong Kong has seen an explosion of taco joints in the past year, but few have been as successful as Brickhouse. Located in an alleyway and with no signage, this hidden gem with red brick walls is one of the best places in the city for a late-night bite, serving up their yummy South and Central American food until midnight (Monday-Wednesday) or 2AM (Thursday-Saturday). If you’re a tequila fan, then Brickhouse is your jam, featuring 60 kinds of the fiery spirit in addition to a range of fun cocktails like the Diabla (jalapeño vodka, raspberries, pomegranate and lemon). Food options include Yellofin Tuna Tostadas, Mexican Street Corn, and Pulled Pork Tacos, which all pair wonderfully with the Tortilla Chips and Salsa Sampler. The funky atmosphere is laid-back, the staff is jovial, and the menu is full of choices for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. So if you’re in Hong Kong and craving a spicy snack or a drink that will make you say olé, make a beeline to Brickhouse.
