Acknowledging the influence of today’s fashion blogger, H&M has commissioned Swedish digital muse Elin Kling to design a capsule collection. Kling, who is one of the most recognized style bloggers in Sweden, is undoubtedly a tastemaker. The images that have been released of the collection, which include nine garments and two accessories, reveal simple, modern silhouettes and a light, clean color palette. Closure-less jackets, a racerback top and a minimalist suit will appeal to “cool” girls who favor unfussy, polished looks. Launching on February 3rd, Kling’s collection will only be available in Sweden. If the collection is a success, perhaps we can expect future blogger collaborations that are released on a broader scale.
